In this special installment of A Different Kind of Tuition titled "Botanical Art Making" that is open to both adults and kids, you will learn to: /be resourceful/understand the various botanical around us/create art using unwanted botanical items/work together as a team with an old folkWorking with the old folks of Ling Kwang Home for Senior Citizens, our participants will have to buddy up with the elderly folks to create an artwork using just botanical items that have been foraged and salvaged. This session will be mentored and guided by renowned Creative Director, and recipient of several advertising awards, Michelle Au - co-founder of Tofu, a creative agency behind campaigns for Peel Fresh, Adidas, Ion Orchard and more. Their artworks will be placed beside the beds of these old folks as a momento. All participants also go home with their own kits to recreate these artworks at home. This session aims to benefit not just the participants, but also the old folks who are placed in the home with no more visitation from their families.
